We've taken all the nuts and added a few to create this little gem of a brittle.  Oh, and a dash of cinnamon too!  Pistachios, Pecans, Almonds, Cashews, Coconut and Hazel Nuts are all toasted together and enrobed in our spectacular toffee coating.  Every bite is a surprise.  We like surprises!
Who the heck is Tracey and why does she have her own blend? Tracey has been helping behind the scenes since the beginning of Sweet Liberty Candy Company.  You never know where she'll pop up and lend a hand or a thought.  We like that!  Every time the Head Brittle Maker brought her along to lay in brittle making supplies she made a bee line for the mixed nuts and asked that a brittle be made from them.  The Head Brittle Maker would nod and smile and say not right now, there are too many irons in the fire at the moment.  Tracey finally wore the Head Brittle Maker down and the deluxe mixed nuts were purchased to play with.  We like to play! After a few batches we thought we had a winner and began mulling names.  Nothing seemed quite right and the brittle felt like it needed something to obtain perfection.  Tracey's all time favorite nut is coconut.  She asked if that could be added in.  Yes, yes it could be added in.  At that point she said, "Well, it's not kind of like a kitchen sink brittle."  VOILA! The final mix and name were born.  This one is a keeper!
